Flights

The closest airport to fly into is LAX. Friends and family travelling from within the US may consider flying into Long Beach Airport (LGB), however it is usually more expensive.

Getting Around

LA is definitely a driving city. We recommend renting a car or planning to take Uber/Lyft. Many neighborhoods are walkable once you're there however different neighborhoods and cities are quite spread out so if you'd like to explore you'll need a car!

Public Transportation

Sadly, public transportation is not very good in LA. There are buses but we've heard mixed opinions on safety.
